• All visits are appointment only; book online, by phone, or DM.

• Punctuality – arrive on time; late arrivals (>20 min) may need to reschedule.

• No-Show Policy – missed appointments may incur a non-refundable $30 deposit when rebooking.

• Accessibility & Privacy – private rooms are available on request.

Holds: In-stock pieces can be held for 24 hours; after that they return to sale.

Lead Times: Synthetic pre-orders 2–3 weeks. Custom human-hair ≈ 6–10 weeks (supplier dependent).

Payment Plans: Interest-free on orders > $400. Defaulting voids the plan and forfeits deposits.

ShippingExpress: AU Post $15 flat-rate; dispatch within two business days of final payment.

Custom pieces are non-returnable and non-refundable. By placing an order you acknowledge:

Cap Fit – growth, weight change, or measurement error can affect fit; adjustment fees apply.

Maintenance – human hair needs heat-protectant, gentle washing, and professional care every 6–8 weeks.

Allergies & Sensitivities – disclose any known allergies to adhesives, lace tint, dyes, or silicones.

Lifespan – with correct care, expect 12–24 months of regular wear.

Health Fund Rebates – eligibility depends on your provider; NYW supplies receipts but cannot guarantee reimbursement.

Wet-Cap Disclaimer – leaving a cap damp in an airtight bag can cause temporary shrinkage; this is not a manufacturing fault and is corrected by drying and gentle stretching.

• If your budget is restricted, we'll work closely with you to create a beautiful, comfortable, and realistic piece within your limits. However, certain features—such as density, lace size, and hand-stitched areas—may be limited. For example, human-hair wigs with larger hand-stitched lace areas typically offer the most natural appearance, while wigs with smaller lace areas and machine-made wefts may appear denser or bulkier.

• We’re committed to transparent communication about how your budget affects your wig choices, ensuring the best possible outcome for your needs.

Another important factor to consider is hair quality. At New You Wigs Co, we are committed to transparency about our hair sourcing and consciously avoid the exploitative marketing often seen within the wig industry.

Our manufacturer offers two primary types of human hair:

Standard Quality: A reliable option we proudly offer, though it's important to note this hair type typically requires more maintenance and care. Standard hair is more susceptible to environmental factors such as humidity, heat, and dryness, potentially requiring increased attention and styling to maintain softness and manageability.

Premium (Brazilian Quality): Our premium hair is notably softer, silkier, and easier to manage. It offers greater resistance to environmental stressors, requires less daily upkeep, and generally provides a longer-lasting, consistently luxurious appearance and feel.

We encourage clients to consider these differences when selecting hair quality to ensure the best fit for your lifestyle, budget, and personal preferences.

• Clients with unique head shapes, including a flatter occipital region (flat-back head shape), should disclose this during their consultation or when placing a custom order. Occipital flatness or other head contours can affect wig cap fit, security, and comfort. NYW will take additional measurements, recommend caps with adjusted darting or stretch panels, or suggest internal grips and padding as needed. Adjustments or customisations due to undisclosed head shape specifics may incur additional fees.

• 7-Day Window — once you've received or collected your custom item (including any style cut), you have seven calendar days to contact us for complimentary adjustments.

• Adjustments can include tweaks to the cut, length modifications, thinning, or minor colour corrections.

• Changes requested after the seven-day window are considered a restyle or recut and will incur additional charges.

• Repairs (lace tears, clip replacements, tightening).

• Colour services are for human-hair pieces only; synthetic fibre colouring is not offered.

• Investing in a human-hair wig or topper requires commitment and effort from you as the client. These pieces require regular styling and maintenance, similar to biological hair, and will not maintain their appearance without proper care. Remember, the hair used is typically processed Asian human hair, and it may respond differently from your own biological hair.

• If your wig or topper is colour-treated, you’ll need periodic colour refreshes, rejuvenation treatments, and consistent use of recommended quality products to maintain its softness, vibrancy, and overall condition.

• We provide personalised one-on-one styling sessions and rejuvenation services to help you fully understand your new hair investment. However, clients are ultimately responsible for investing the time and effort required to learn how to care for, style, and maintain their wig or topper. The more effort you invest, the better and longer-lasting your results will be.

• Results vary by individual; we cannot guarantee specific visual outcomes or lifespan.

• NYW is not liable for damage arising from improper home maintenance, unauthorised alterations, or misuse of styling tools.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, NYW’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the product or service.

• All photos, text, and trademarks on newyouwigsco.com are owned by NYW. Reproduction or redistribution without written consent is prohibited.

• We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute shall be heard in the courts of Brisbane, QLD.

• By using our website, booking an appointment, or purchasing a product, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. For custom orders, you may also be asked to sign an in-salon copy of the Custom Human-Hair Waiver for additional acknowledgment.
